Lance Corporal USMC Goldman lost his life due to hostile fire while conducting active combat operations during Operation Iraqi Freedom.

He had enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in 2002 and was on his second tour of duty in Iraq.

Born in Houston, the son of Bobby and Jan Manshack and George H. Goldman Jr who survive him, he was a lifelong resident of Orange, Texas.

Full military honors were provided by the 1st Battalion 23rd Marines 4th Marine Division of Houston, Texas.
