Sept. 24, 1932 - April 6, 2011

Judge Hunt was born in Forney, Texas.  He served in the United States Marine Corps.  Judge Hunt retired from the Dallas Fire Department, the Wood County Sheriff's Department, and the U.S. Marshall's Office.  He also served as a Justice of the Peace for Wood County and a City Judge for Mineola.  He was a member of the Mineola Masonic Lodge No. 502, the American Legion, and the Marine Corps League Detachment #1278,
where he was very active in the Toys for Tots program.

Judge Hunt leaves behind his wife Bobbie Cotten Hunt of Mineola, his son Clinton Edward Hunt of Mineola and daughter Leigh Ann Hunt of Tyler.
